Aaron's Newsletter - Upcoming Concerts and New Videos

Dear Reader,

Happy spring to you or if you are in New England, happy a-little-more-sun-than-usual to you!

Resolution. In music it can't be rushed, but it always arrives. Each composer masking it in their own vernacular. I find solace in this. It's why I practice.

Listen Well,

Aaron

March Concerts and classes in California went wonderfully. Meeting old friends, collaborators, students, and meeting new fans while finding exceptional Mexican food, and walking among the Redwoods made for an excellent and fulfilling tour.
Catherine was kind enough to take a few videos of me playing amongst the Redwoods in Muir Woods, Click HERE.

Pepe Romero Jr. - Luthier
I had the pleasure of spending some time with luthier Pepe Romero Jr. in his lovely Southern California studio. We talked woods a bit but mainly played his guitars and made a few videos while at it. The first two:

Dear Reader, I spent much of the last month recording and refining the music for my next album. I can't say exactly what it will feature at this point, but it does include multiple new areas of collaboration with violin & guitar, poetry, and spoken word. I may play a piece on concerts this month... I'm currently composing a set of piano miniatures, a work for choir & guitar, and a couple of guitar solos. If you'd like to stay abreast on my latest happenings or pester me to finish them, see...
